Shay Kostiner, managing director of Fifth Avenue Capital Partners, has sold his vacant lot at 44 Star Island for $10 million to Hartstone Investments. Techrin Hijazi of Brown Harris Stevens, who had previously co-listed the property, represented the buyer and seller in the transaction. The pie shaped lot covers 1.1 acres with 209’ of waterfront. The transaction includes plans for a 27,000 SF mansion with 9 bedrooms and an 8 car garage designed by DOMO Architecture and Design. Kostiner first acquired the property in 2010 for $7.25 million and was met with backlash when he went to demolish the vintage monterey style estate before gaining approvals. He first listed the property for $24 million in 2016.
